Dr. Sabrina M. Singleton is an Entrepreneur with many titles, including Published Author, Educator, Consultant, Forensic Vocational Expert, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist, and Public Speaker.
While her accomplishments are expansive, she finds it most rewarding when she educates through speaking engagements, writing, and helping others. Dr. Singleton has 19 years of clinical experience and knowledge in helping individuals with disabilities overcome life challenges. She empowers, encourages, and educates students, families, individuals, and the community through speaking engagements, her clinical practice, and published works.
Dr. Singleton's academic background highlights her commitment to empowering and educating others. She holds a Doctorate degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern University A & M, and a Bachelor's degree in Social & Rehabilitation Services from the University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to being an entrepreneur, she is an adjunct professor at Alabama State University, teaching Rehabilitation Services to undergraduate students. She has also taught undergraduate and master's-level students at Jackson State University, Alabama State University, and Assumption College.
Dr. Singleton's clinical experience has been with individuals with mental, physical, and psychological disabilities. Dr. Singleton started her career in 2006 as a Rehabilitation Counselor. Her practical experience includes assessing individuals with disabilities' independent living needs and rehabilitation potential to work and obtain jobs within the community. Dr. Singleton manages two businesses. Vocational & Rehabilitation Consultants, LLC offers vocational expert and rehabilitation services to attorneys, local education agencies, state and federal entities, and individuals.
Dr. Singleton has written her first children's book based on the mental health challenges and difficulties of children and adolescents. Her goal is to educate and offer solutions to youth dealing with complex issues to help them overcome difficult situations.
